Sean is a certified Level II Ultrasound Inspector, Level I Steam Examiner and he has been involved with ultrasound technology since 2007. He has trained an lectured about the technology throughout Canada and has been instrumental in the program implementation of ultrasound for many companies.

Mike is an active member of the Faculty, Board of Directors and Advisory Committees for HDET (Heavy Duty Equipment Technician) and HDEO (Heavy Duty Equipment Operator) at Conestoga College, an instructor of the Lubrication School at Mohawk College and a Member in Good Standing of Society of Tribologists & Lubrication Engineers. A graduate of Conestoga College of Applied Arts & Technology with an Industrial Maintenance (Millwright) Mechanic license, Mike has spent the last 30+ years building a wealth of knowledge on the topic of lubrication. He will be offering the Seminar attendees his unique insight and tips gained over 3 decades as a service technician, Off-Road Lubrication Specialist, Sales Manager, General Manager and V.P. in this industry.
Shane Turcott, Principal Metallurgist, Steel Image
Shane Turcott, Principal Metallurgist, Steel Image Shane Turcott graduated with his B.Eng and M.A.Sc in Materials Engineering from McMaster University. He has performed failure analysis for various employers including: Dofasco, Bodycote and Liburdi Turbine Services. In 2009, he founded Steel Image which specializes in failure analysis and on-site, in-situ metallography. He has performed work in various places around the world supporting petroleum, mining, automotive and energy industries. He is the past Ontario Chair of the American Society of Materials and recent winner of the McMaster Alumni Arch Award.
Jason has focused his career on developing partnership with others, and with this in mind he has strived to acquire experience and knowledge in the alignment and vibration fields. His strong knowledge in preventive maintenance, has helped companies reduce costs in order to increase profitability, and this has become part of his core belief system. This belief system, is what drove Jason to joining Fixturlaser Canada three years ago in order to help businesses throughout Canada strive with their preventive maintenance plans and overall success. His experience in service work, in the industrial environment, training of the work force, and his exposure to different industrial environments have given him, an edge, to best serve and consult with the users.
Doc Palmer October 21-22, 2015Author of McGraw-Hill's Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Handbook
Doc Palmer has over three decades of industrial experience as a practitioner primarily within the maintenance department of the Jacksonville Electric Authority, a major United States electric utility. From 1990 through 1994, Palmer was responsible for overhauling the existing maintenance planning organization. The resulting success played a role in expanding planning to all crafts and stations owned and operated by the utility. Publisher McGraw-Hill subsequently sought out Palmer to author the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Handbook published in 1999 and now in its third edition (2013). Palmer also directed the purchase and implementation of a CMMS and administered the preventive maintenance program. Additionally, he has delivered numerous well-received maintenance articles and presentations for industry.
Currently Palmer provides guidance, mentoring, and training for companies internationally for maintenance planning success.
Doc Palmer is a registered professional engineer with a master's degree in business administration. He is also a CMRP, Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional.
